It emphasizes, among other things, breathing through which the entire body works. Energy is thus distributed intelligently, with the core being the strong point that directs the rest of our body: head, arms, and legs. During each exercise, we make sure to control the intensity of our engagement and our alignment while respecting the capabilities of our body, allowing it to discover almost unlimited movement possibilities.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Pilates method<\/strong> includes a very large number of exercises and options that adapt to all practitioners according to each individual\u2019s specific needs. No imitation of the instructor is required; only sensation, the mind-body connection, intuition, and thought guide us in training to continually explore our potential.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Breathing in the <strong>Pilates method<\/strong> involves, among others, three important muscles or muscle groups: the transverse abdominals, the diaphragm, and the pelvic floor. The ideal \"belt\" that supports your back and allows you to maintain good posture depends on the coordinated work of these three muscles or muscle groups. This deep musculature will never cause you pain or soreness, unlike superficial muscles, because this deep musculature works tirelessly to keep you standing upright and straight. This deep musculature does not create direction; it supports our movements, allowing our body to maintain an upright and stable posture.
